Harvest Times for Bonbio Lettuce

Bonbio’s first lettuce harvest is presented here by project manager Emelie and horticulturalist Olle.

Following on from herbs such as basil and mint, lettuce is now being grown at our facility in Helsingborg using our circular farming system.

Our cultivation of herbs such as basil and mint has produced some fantastic results so far. But now it is time for our horticulturalists to grow some of our most popular vegetables, starting off with a cultivated plant that has been grown for more than two thousand years – the humble lettuce.

Our cultivation containers are currently being used to grow lettuce, rocket and tasty Sareptasarepta mustard, a product with a flavour reminiscent of mustard and horseradish and adding a bit of bite to salads.
